Well, we finally have the land cleared and brought up the camper this past weekend. It was cold and rainy our first night there but we stayed cozy in the camper. The next day was beautiful and we got a lot accomplished. We planted 210 white pine tree seedlings. Hopefully we won't lose all of them and will get a few nice pine trees out of our efforts. We raked and made the fire pit area and enjoyed our first fire there Friday night with Josh and Zeek. We also did some plotting out to see what kind of house would best fit on the land. It was a busy weekend and we went home sore and tired. Hopefully, next weekend we will bring the kayaks up and enjoy the lake. We found out we have to move our entry to the driveway over 15 feet, SO I guess we have a few more trees to take down. :)
