Fishing Weekend!

What a difference a little excavating can do!

Yeah, the stumps are gone and the new entrance is started.  The fill and grading will be done hopefully this week as the township needs to dig a ditch for run off on the entrance road.  We are getting excited after seeing the lot with the stumps removed.  It is starting to look like a real lot to build on now.

Even Mesa took a little ride in the bay on the kayak.  The lake is perfect for kayaking.
                                                                Quiet and SO PEACEFUL!

We fished a lot this weekend.  The sunfish are plentiful here and they are VERY HUNGRY!  All you have to do is cast and in no time you have one on your line.  Josh has been fishing there quite a bit and catching some nice large mouth bass, northern, and is trying to find some small mouth too.  He took his good friend Ed and his son Joshua on their first fishing adventure this weekend.  They enjoyed it so much they can't wait to come back.  This lake is perfect for kids to fish.

Can't wait till our girls can come spend summers here with Nana and Bapa.  They will love all the adventures waiting for them here.  We spotted muskrat and heron this weekend.  Deer are always around and love to hang out in our lot.  Such simple beauty.  We love it there!!

Looks like an ideal place for kids to grow up in. Wonder how Avery & Olivia will take to fishing?
Even with all the trees taken out, foliage looks lush, though there are probably a few too many mosquitoes.

Any additional plans after leveling and driveway/culvert for this summer?

Sounds relaxing, but I know you two are working your butts off too. Great to take time to get out on the water and appreciate the beauty of this lake location.
