My daughter - my gift!
Today is my daughter's birthday. Happy birthday to you Jennisa! 28 years ago God blessed me with a precious baby girl. I already had an awesome little boy so God knew what he was doing when he chose her to come into my life. She burst into the world with just a few short hours of labor and has been going strong ever since. In anything she does her determination always gets the job done. She is a great daughter, mother and friend. I am so very proud of the woman she has become and thank God for this wonderful gift. A daughter.....a friend!

I second that,on all of that but since she is not my daughter nor my mother, she is a SPECTACULAR friend, Happy Birthday Jennisa!

I had the same feelings about Caitlin's birthday on Saturday - that I am SO incredibly Blessed with such a wonderful daughter. I am still waiting for the 'real' friend part though ~ I think that will take a couple more years.
When I think of Jennisa, I see how she mirrors YOU. All of the things you have taught her and shared with her are so evident with the way she lives and loves. My mom-in-law used to say that on a child's birthday, it is the MOM who should really be celebrated. And, I know that Jennisa celebrates you every day ~ your love shines through in her always!
